The team at Kinder- und Jugendhilfe Rwanda regularly discusses which projects are particularly urgent and should therefore be supported. Depending on the amount of donations, we then implement these projects together with the local people – be it water tanks, mattresses, solar systems for power supply, goats, cooking sets or school materials. 

 

In addition, thanks to numerous large donations, the association was able to launch its own education project in the Rutunga sector in 2019: the construction of a preschool. The children in the first preschool class at the Happy Kids School started school in January 2020. The construction of a primary and secondary school is also planned in the near future in order to support these children throughout their school careers in the long term.
